The East Orange County Water District (EOCWD) recently received a grant under the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 (Public Law 106-109). This grant provides funding for EOCWD to plan and implement a hazard mitigation plan (HMP) to address natural disasters. The plan will be developed with significant public input and its development will be overseen by a steering committee.
