6 MG Reservoir - PDR
East Orange County Water District's existing 6 million gallon (MG) reservoir is a concrete, hopper bottom reservoir constructed in 1963 alongside a raw water treatment plant. Recently, the treatment plant was demolished and is no longer a part of the site. This project will mitigate the future impacts to identified critical infrastructure from both seismic and wildfire risks and is being partially funded through FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The first phase of the project is to prepare a Preliminary Design Report (PDR). The PDR will include a seismic parameters report, evaluation of construction materials, topographic mapping, alternative construction methods analysis, along with thirty percent (30%) plans.
