Protecting Your Water: PFAS Treatment

East Orange County Water District (EOCWD) is committed to providing the safest and cleanest water available to its customers.  To that end, EOCWD partnered with the Orange County Water District to build and operate a water treatment plant to remove PFAS contaminants from the groundwater.  The EOCWD facility has been in operation since December 2024.  EOCWD is one of 18 water districts and water departments from throughout north and central Orange County that has developed and implemented this type of PFAS water treatment system to ensure safe and reliable water for all residents throughout the region.
